England - North York Moors

Great Ayton is a lovely place to wander around. Its name derives from Old English 'Ea-tun', meaning 'river farm'. One of the typical houses in the town is called Baxter Cottage built in 1730 and now a Grade II listed stone residence overlooking the River Leven.
